Job Summary
Install and service car wash systems, ancillary products, and chemicals by performing scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting chemical, mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, PLC controllers, and power supplies. Repair malfunctions, install new equipment, remove old units, and stage materials on job sites while inspecting for shipment damage. Document all repairs and service, recommend program and equipment changes to improve reliability and reduce costs, and maintain tools and test equipment professionally. Operate vehicles safely and provide superior customer service during client interactions.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years field experience
- Previous experience with Car Wash Equipment
- Strong Mechanical and Plumbing skills
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Understanding of PLC controllers, low voltage control circuits, and three-phase power
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must
- Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and use hands to grip regularly
- Prolonged periods of sitting
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined
