Job Summary
Service Advisor coordinating service scheduling, work orders, quotes and invoices; acts as the customer/technician liaison to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities include collecting and updating customer information, writing up requested repairs, monitoring progress, selling additional needed service, and communicating with customers throughout the service process, including scheduling. Must dispatch and plan weekly/monthly schedules for road technicians, assign work, maintain records of time and service details, and optimize technician workload using scheduling tools and GPS. Requires strong dispatching and scheduling experience, excellent communication, high organization, multitasking ability, proficiency with Microsoft Office and service-management databases, and a customer-focused problem-solving mindset.
