Job Summary
Service Advisor sought to be the primary contact for automotive service and repair matters. Responsible for listening to customer problems, arranging appropriate service levels, and setting/ managing expectations with customers and technicians. Requires ASE certification or willingness to obtain, post-secondary automotive training, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and dealer-level or large-facility experience. Key duties include greeting customers, diagnosing reported problems, making best-value repair recommendations, coordinating repair delivery, maintaining documentation (POs, invoices, work orders), adhering to safety standards, managing parts inventory, delivering a white-glove service experience, and upholding company policies. Strong technical and customer service skills, plus excellent communication, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Minimum of one year of dealer-level or large facility experience
- Post-secondary automotive training
- Certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or willing to obtain certification
- Strong technical and customer service performance record
