Job Summary
Schedule service for customers in person or on the phone to ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis of vehicle problems. Make repair recommendations and manage the delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations. Ensure required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations while enforcing all safety policies and procedures. Attend staff meetings, training, and educational classes to educate new staff members. Perform other duties as assigned. This role requires a high school diploma, one year of dealer-level experience, and an unrestricted driver's license. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Unrestricted driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
- One year of dealer-level or large facility experience
- ASE certification
- Willingness to obtain ASE certification
- Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain composure under stress
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
