Service Advisor-Tow/Haul Dispatch

Job Summary

Service Advisor-Tow/Haul Dispatch at Earthborne Trucks and Equipment. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service as the primary contact for equipment and truck service needs, opening and managing repair orders with accurate documentation, communicating repair status to customers, scheduling appointments and coordinating shop workloads, dispatching road service technicians and coordinating towing/hauling, preparing repair estimates with technicians and service management, obtaining approvals, monitoring work order progress, ensuring accurate invoicing prior to equipment release, maintaining customer records and warranty paperwork, following up with customers to ensure satisfaction, responding to inquiries, prioritizing emergency repairs, maintaining an organized service schedule, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures, participating in meetings and continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting the Service Manager to achieve departmental goals. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (associate degree/technical training preferred), 2+ years in related roles, proficiency with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, familiarity with dealership management software (CDK, PFW, IntelliDealer), excellent communication and organizational skills, a professional appearance, reliability, and a valid driver's license (preferred).

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service, service advisor, dispatcher, or administrative role
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced service environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Experience with dealership management software (CDK, PFW, IntelliDealer) is a plus
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn heavy equipment and truck service terminology
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in heavy equipment, trucking, construction, agricultural, or automotive industries (preferred)
  • Proficiency with dealership management software (CDK, PFW, IntelliDealer, etc.) (preferred)
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced service environments
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn heavy equipment and truck service terminology
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and billing
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred)
  • Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
