Job Summary
Automotive Service Advisor position responsible for greeting customers, documenting concerns, advising on repair options and costs, coordinating with technicians to ensure accurate service outcomes, informing customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections, managing service-center scheduling and workflow, keeping customers updated on service changes and vehicle readiness, helping customers decide on repair options, and maintaining a clean and organized facility. Requires typing 40+ WPM, verifiable front desk/sales/management experience in a shop, eligibility to work in California, familiarity with AllData or Mitchell labor guides, and knowledge of B.A.R. Write it Right standards. Location: San Jose, CA. Salary includes base and commission/OTE with base $70,000 and OTE $85,000+, benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Typing speed of 40+ Words Per Minute
- Verifiable shop experience as Front Desk Sales/Advisor Sales/Management
- Eligibility to work in California
- Familiarity with repair and labor guides such as AllData or Mitchell products
- Knowledge of the B.A.R. Write it Right standards
