Job Summary
Service Advisor at Lucid in Rutherford, NJ provides exceptional customer experience throughout the service process, greets clients, documents concerns for diagnosis and repair, explains options with time and cost estimates, tracks vehicles through maintenance, ensures work meets Lucid standards, and secures client signatures and payments. Responsibilities include conducting thorough vehicle inspections, documenting damage, managing loaner and transportation logistics, maintaining CSI KPI, reviewing work orders with technicians and detailers, addressing warranty claim rejections, and communicating clearly with customers about repairs and invoices. Requires 2-5 years automotive service experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with MS Office and DMS software, and a valid driver’s license; full-time with possible extended hours including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years automotive experience and training in a Service Advisor or Front of House role
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
- Ability to articulate and document details to ensure smooth workflow
- Ability to tailor and explain automotive terminology and concepts to customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and DMS software
- Full-time availability including weekends or extended hours
- Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training post hire
- Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year
