Job Summary
Service Advisor greets customers, collects vehicle information, clearly reports vehicle symptoms, and recommends maintenance based on age, mileage, and history. Prepares a complete and accurate labor and parts estimate, schedules follow-ups, and monitors progress to update customers; verifies final invoice aligns with repair orders and explains work performed and charges. Requires dealership experience as a plus, strong communication, customer satisfaction focus, ability to learn new technologies, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year in service department
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
