Job Summary
The Service Advisor is the center of communication for service/repair activities and the liaison between guests and technicians. Responsibilities include scheduling service in person or by phone for prompt and accurate diagnosis, making repair recommendations, managing delivery of repairs, ensuring complete documentation compliant with regulations, enforcing safety policies, warmly greeting guests, and routing unresolved concerns to the service manager. Requires HS diploma/GED, 3-5 years of high luxury dealer experience, broad automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge, strong communication and problem-solving skills, an unrestricted driver’s license with clean record, and basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of high luxury dealer experience as a Service Advisor required
- Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer and internet skills
