Job Summary
The Powersports Service Advisor is responsible for being the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting service requests, providing service updates, upselling services, coordinating with technicians, and handling warranty claims. Qualifications include a high school diploma, relevant experience, strong knowledge of powersports vehicles, customer-focused mindset, and good organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Sales aptitude with a consultative approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with technicians and team members
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive, motorcycle, marine, or powersports service advising preferred
- Strong knowledge of powersports vehicles (motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, etc.)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with service management software
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
