Job Summary
Schedule service appointments, greet customers, and obtain vehicle data prior to arrival. Provide complete written cost estimates for labor and parts, establish promised times, and check repair progress throughout the day. Contact customers regarding estimate or time changes, explain requirements in detail, and secure authorization before additional repairs. Perform test drives or refer to technicians as necessary. Advise customers on vehicle care and maintenance schedules. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index ratings comparable to manufacturer or branch averages. Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know. Follow all safety policies and immediately report accidents. Requires two years of dealership experience, general vehicle mechanical knowledge, and ASE certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Two years of experience in a dealership position
- General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
- Professional personal appearance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
Desired Qualifications
