Job Summary

The Service Advisor schedules service work, creates written estimates for parts and labor, and maintains ongoing communication with customers on repair orders. Responsibilities include interviewing customers about complaints, inspecting vehicles and taking photos, creating ASIST Case and Repair Orders, scheduling with the Shop Foreman, preparing estimates, explaining maintenance recommendations, tracking repair progress, updating the dispatch system, and following up with customers on work in progress. The role also involves educating customers on maintenance, reviewing completed work with the Shop Foreman and parts personnel, processing payments, and performing test drives as needed. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interpret financial information for dealership operations, and proficiency with computer systems are required. Minimum three years of heavy-duty truck experience or related field experience is expected; a high school diploma is required with college/technical training preferred; CDL is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma - College or Technical training preferred but not mandatory
  • Valid CDL license is preferred.
