Job Summary
As a Service Advisor, you will schedule service appointments with the Service Foreman, prepare written estimates for parts and labor with accurate time-frames, inspect vehicles, educate customers on manufacturer-recommended maintenance, track service work in the dispatch system, provide customers with progress updates, explain service work and related charges, review completed work with Shop Foreman and parts personnel, process repair orders and payments, and conduct test drives with customers as needed. Strong interpersonal/communication skills, computer proficiency, and a minimum of three years in the heavy-duty truck industry are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years experience in heavy duty truck industry with working knowledge of parts and services used in repair and maintenance
