Service Advisor

Greet customers, listen to vehicle descriptions, and obtain customer and vehicle information. Inspect all vehicles for bodywork and notify customers if work is needed. Secure customer agreements before repairs, cover cost estimates, and approximate completion times. Advise customers on vehicle care using maintenance menus and handle minor complaints. Follow up on repair orders by contacting customers regarding estimate or time changes. Handle telephone inquiries and return messages promptly. Deliver vehicles to customers, answer questions, review work performed, and explain charges. Refer leads and prospects to sales departments. Assist the service manager as necessary and follow safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, dust, and harsh chemicals.
