Job Summary
Schedule service work and sell additional services to customers while maintaining a top 10% Customer Satisfaction Index rating. Greet clients, communicate mechanical issues to technicians, and provide estimates for labor and parts. Manage repair orders by obtaining signatures, tracking progress, and following up on changes or warranty claims. Perform active deliveries, handle telephone inquiries, and ensure all documents and codes are accounted for. Work in a fast-paced dealership environment, standing and moving throughout the facility, with occasional weekend and evening hours required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED)
- Valid New York State Driver License
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands to point, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists
- Will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service department, offices) for most of the shift
- Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Occasional weekend and evening hours
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multitasked environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and details simultaneously
- Ability to work productively in a fast paced, stressful environment
- Microsoft Office to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and CDK
Desired Qualifications
- One year dealership experience preferred
