Job Summary
Service Advisor acts as the communication link between customers and technicians, greeting customers, gathering needs, preparing accurate repair estimates, coordinating with technicians to ensure timely service, processing payments, and maintaining a positive customer experience in a high-energy, fast-paced powersports dealership environment. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling customer needs, documenting service concerns, explaining repair estimates clearly, keeping the service area organized, and communicating with customers throughout the repair process. Requires 2+ years in a related role, knowledge of off-road machines a plus, service writing and basic repair processes, strong communication and customer service skills, multitasking and organization, comfort with computers and POS systems, and the physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role (Auto, Marine, or Powersports)
- Knowledge of off-road machines a plus
- Service writing, and basic repair processes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
