Job Summary
The Service Advisor will be the face of the dealership for service customers, presenting and selling needed products and/or services while adhering to the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule. Responsibilities include greeting customers, building rapport, advising on vehicle care per manufacturer specifications, generating accurate repair estimates, communicating completion times to customers and technicians, answering service calls, scheduling appointments, and following up to promote return visits and high CSI scores. The role requires following warranty guidelines, maintaining customer and vehicle information confidentiality, complying with applicable laws, and delivering honest, customer-focused service with strong referral potential. Candidates should demonstrate great customer service, phone and computer skills, and a readiness to engage in ongoing professional development; prior automotive Service Advisor experience is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
- Previous automotive Service Advisor experience heavily preferred
