Job Summary
Service Advisor responsibilities include greeting customers on the drive, listening to vehicle concerns, determining required services, and preparing repair orders. They estimate additional costs for recommended work, advise on other services, and communicate with customers about inspections, repairs, and progress. They perform vehicle walkarounds, identify mechanical issues, obtain customer approvals and signatures, describe work and costs to customers, handle complaints, schedule appointments, verify and update customer and vehicle data, and ensure smooth payment processing. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, updating customers on progress, maintaining customer satisfaction, and applying manufacturer training when available. The position may involve service drive or express department duties, requires ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and may include working Saturdays. Required Qualifications
