Job Summary
Service Advisor role at Kenworth Sales Company in Jerome, ID. Responsibilities include generating, monitoring and closing repair orders; assisting the Service Manager with service department records; coordinating with customers on estimates, appointments, authorizations, and updates; communicating progress and changes to customers; calculating labor charges and ensuring accuracy of repairs; promoting labor, parts, and accessories sales; maintaining up-to-date service-rate information and dealership literature; handling purchase orders and cash transactions; supporting the Service Manager in files/records management; and delivering timely, courteous customer service. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English literacy, knowledge of heavy truck repair methods, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a professional appearance.
