Job Summary
The Service Advisor coordinates all customer contact for the Service Department, generates and monitors repair orders, and assists the Service Manager with department records. Responsibilities include obtaining customer authorization for changes, calculating labor charges, closing repair orders, promoting labor/parts sales, maintaining up-to-date service rate information, handling paperwork and forms, and ensuring timely communication with customers about repairs, costs, and completion times. Requires English proficiency, strong customer service, organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to read and comprehend service-related instructions. The role is based in Pasco, WA, with responsibilities in a heavy-truck service environment and adherence to DOT/drug-screen requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of all heavy truck repair methods
- Ability to identify and meet Customer needs and requirements
- Strong work ethic, takes initiative as a self‐starter, and consistently applies effective problem‐solving skills
- Organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Exceptional phone and customer service skills
