Job Summary
Service Advisor liaises between customers and technicians, ensuring superior customer service and efficient repair scheduling. Responsible for preparing and billing repair orders, assigning work, and maintaining clear customer communication. Role emphasizes honoring commitments, providing positive customer experiences, and continuous learning; duties include documenting and diagnosing repairs, preparing repair estimates, coordinating with insurance for authorizations, monitoring schedules for timely repairs and pricing, maintaining parts inventory, and supporting shop efficiency and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
