Service Advisor (John Deere Construction Equipment)

Service Advisor acts as the communications hub between customers, technicians, and management. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for equipment service and repairs, building strong customer relationships through responsive communication and problem resolution, providing updates on repair status and timelines, accurately documenting concerns and repair requests, opening/maintaining/closing repair orders, collecting purchase orders and warranty information, and ensuring service documentation is complete. The role requires coordinating shop schedules with the Service Manager and technicians, prioritizing workflow, and supporting operational efficiency with attention to detail. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of heavy equipment industry experience and knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, diesel engines, equipment diagnostics, electrical schematics, and construction equipment applications; familiarity with brands such as John Deere, Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Case CE.
