Job Summary
Responsible for selling, identifying, and documenting service, maintenance, and repair service for customers. Schedules services to be performed, advises on necessary and recommended services, computes costs of parts and repairs, and maintains high customer satisfaction standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in the automotive field or customer service, with a valid driver’s license required. Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive or customer service industries
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of the Dealership Management System and other web based applications utilized for operations
Additional Requirements
- Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays
- The position requires regular and predictable attendance
