Job Summary
Provide customers with estimates of repair costs (parts and labor) and identify warranty coverage, coordinate authorization for additional repairs, set realistic time promises for repairs, maintain a workload-tracking sheet, and deliver a positive, lasting customer experience in the automotive service department. The role emphasizes clear communication to educate customers about vehicle service needs, ensure customer satisfaction, and support service department operations through timely quotes, documentation, and follow-up. The Service Advisor interacts with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and via email, supporting service managers and technicians while building customer rapport and maintaining records.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- A Valid Driver’s License and favorable Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
- You have a minimum of 2 years in automotive service
