Job Summary
The Service Advisor serves as the primary contact for customers in the Service Department, handling in-person and phone interactions, greeting walk-ins, dispatching service calls, coordinating with the Shop Foreman and Parts Department, documenting all customer and equipment information in work orders, preparing quotes and maintenance inspections, communicating service options clearly, addressing complaints, and delivering the Gooseneck Experience in every customer interaction. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in a service/customer-facing role; strong communication skills; technical knowledge of service operations, labor rates, quoting, and scheduling; proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with John Deere equipment preferred; and the ability to work extended hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a service department or customer-facing role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical understanding of service operations, labor rates, quoting, and scheduling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based tools
- Familiarity with John Deere equipment (preferred)
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends
