Job Summary
Greet customers promptly, obtain vehicle information, and clearly report symptoms as described. Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history, then prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and parts. Establish follow-up times, monitor daily vehicle progress, and update customers frequently. Verify invoice reconciliation with the repair order and explain all completed work and charges. Maintain a positive, friendly attitude while working in a fast-paced environment to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year in service department
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
- Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
- Very energetic personality
- Personal and professional integrity
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
