Key duties include diagnosing customer needs, providing accurate estimates, writing clear repair descriptions, obtaining customer approvals for add-on services, handling payments, and acting as a liaison among customers, technicians, and manufacturer representatives. Required skills include strong communication and organizational abilities, extensive automotive knowledge, and the capacity to interact effectively with customers and senior management. High school diploma or GED is required, with opportunities for growth within the service department.
