Job Summary
Greet customers, ascertain their needs, and explain repairs to obtain approval. Operate the point of sale system to create work orders, invoice clients, and process payments while maintaining knowledge of promotions and security practices. Open and close cash registers, balance drawers, and make deposits. Inventory materials and supplies, assist with store cleanliness, and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires 8a-5p M-F hours with overtime flexibility and involves lifting commercial truck tires (40-80 lbs) in a non-climate controlled environment. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift commercial truck tires or parts (40-80 lbs)
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, footwear)
- Ability to operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient manner
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience in commercial tire/repair industry preferred
- 2-4 years' sales experience preferred
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
- Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word
- Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely
- Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures
