Job Summary
Schedule service appointments in person or by phone to ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis of vehicle problems. Make repair recommendations and manage delivery by setting and managing customer expectations regarding maintenance and repairs. Ensure required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations while enforcing all safety policies and procedures. Attend staff meetings, training, and educational classes to educate new team members. Perform other duties as assigned. This role requires a high school diploma, one year of dealer-level experience, and an unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record. ASE certification is a plus. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to deliver professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
- One year of dealer-level or large facility experience
- Unrestricted driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certification (or is willing to obtain certification)
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles is a Plus!
- Basic computer and internet skills
