Job Summary
Service Advisor at Camping World responsible for initiating and processing repair service requests, providing administrative support to the Service Department, and keeping customers informed on work progress. Responsibilities include determining specialized product needs with customers, suggesting add-on sales to increase transaction value, providing price estimates for installations prior to scheduling, and maintaining communication with customers about progress. Requirements include at least one year of service experience (RV product or camping lifestyle preferred), strong computer and internet search ability, excellent organization and follow-up skills, and the ability to follow department procedures. Valid driver’s license preferred; lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional 50 lbs with assistive devices; standing, bending, and other physical demands may apply. Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $75,000+ annually with uncapped commissions, plus full-time benefits (medical, dental, vision) and additional perks.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of service experience is preferred
- Previous RV product or camping lifestyle
- Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed
- Excellent organization and follow up skills are required
- The ability to follow department procedures and policies
- Valid driver's license preferred
- May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
