Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from service check-in through completion, building relationships to identify service needs with a sales-driven approach. Provide accurate estimates for repairs prior to scheduling and communicate clearly with technicians to ensure timely completion. Keep customers informed of repair progress, address escalated situations with empathy, and identify upsell opportunities to maximize revenue. Maintain accurate documentation, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and handle challenging situations professionally. This salary plus commission role ($50,000-$60,000 average) supports a 5-day work week at the Fort Lauderdale dealership, where you will work closely with technicians and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 1 year of service advisor, automotive, or related experience
- Strong sales mentality with the ability to recommend and close additional services
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven ability to navigate customer concerns and service recovery situations with confidence and professionalism
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Solid computer skills and ability to navigate service systems
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work closely with technicians and leadership
- Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed
