Job Summary
The Service Advisor greets customers, documents repair concerns, and manages the service process from check-in to completion. You will create repair orders, clearly communicate recommended services and pricing, coordinate repair scheduling with technicians, provide timely status updates, and explain invoices at vehicle delivery. Maintain regular communication with customers regarding progress and findings, handle warranty/recall documentation, and uphold the company’s core values in every interaction. The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced dealership environment. A basic mechanical understanding of vehicle systems and experience with dealership management systems are advantageous. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership or repair facility preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic mechanical understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance
- Experience with dealership management systems (Dealertrack, CDK, or similar) preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple repair orders at once
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
