Job Summary
Service Advisor in a fast-paced tire and auto shop responsible for greeting customers, documenting vehicle concerns, preparing service estimates, explaining repairs, promoting tires and service packages, coordinating with technicians, obtaining customer authorization, keeping customers informed, arranging pickup/drop-off, and handling invoices, payments, warranties, and service documentation. Must have Sales Ability with upselling/cross-selling, bilingual English/Spanish, automotive knowledge, customer service, strong communication, negotiation and closing skills, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving. Preferred: tech savviness with CRM/POS/scheduling tools/MS Office; 1+ year experience in automotive shop/dealership/service center or auto parts store; High school diploma or GED. Weekend/extended hours may be required. ASE certification training available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (post-secondary in automotive or business preferred)
- 1+ years of customer service or service advisor experience (tire/auto industry ideal)
- ASE certification training available
