Service Advisor

Greet customers, obtain vehicle information, and assist with scheduling service appointments. Listen to customer descriptions of problems, perform visual inspections or road tests, and help identify mechanical issues. Prepare repair orders detailing time, cost, and labor estimates, then write brief descriptions of concerns to aid technicians. Advise customers on necessary maintenance, available services, and vehicle care, while providing accurate written cost estimates. Handle customer complaints, confirm authorized additional repairs, and establish promised times. Explain work performed and charges, obtain signatures and payment authorization, and ensure vehicles are securely parked and keys are marked.
