Job Summary
Communicate with customers regarding warranty claims, routine maintenance, and mechanical problems through questioning, visual inspections, or road tests. Confers on inspection results to recommend corrective procedures, prepare repair orders with time and cost estimates, and explain work performed and charges. Schedules service appointments, obtains vehicle data, and test drives vehicles to confirm issues. Handles complaints, implements a service marketing program, and ensures vehicles are parked and secured. Checks repair progress, notifies dispatchers, and authorizes additional repairs. Reviews repair orders to close work and maintains quality control to eliminate comebacks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
