Job Summary
As a Service Advisor at AutoNation Honda Lewisville, you will act as the go-between for Service Technicians and customers, explaining technicians' recommendations in easy-to-understand language and identifying up-sell opportunities to keep drivers safe. You’ll set and prepare for appointments, meet sales and customer-satisfaction targets, greet customers, determine vehicle needs through walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives, produce repair orders with transparent cost/time estimates, coordinate with technicians and parts staff for timely work, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. This role emphasizes delivering an exceptional customer experience, using consultative selling, and applying automotive knowledge to plan ongoing maintenance and keep customers informed throughout the service process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Prior sales experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
- The willingness to follow up with customers
- Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record
- CDK, service writer, service writing
