Job Summary
Build lasting relationships with customers through honest communication and guide them from check-in through delivery while preparing accurate estimates and obtaining repair authorizations. Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and vendors to maximize shop efficiency, assist with scheduling and dispatching, and source, order, receive, and process returns for automotive parts. Work closely with the Shop Manager to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, clearly explain repair recommendations, and resolve concerns professionally to maintain a positive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Experience in an independent automotive repair facility
- Experience with European and import vehicles
- Experience using Tekmetric shop management software
- Experience with automotive parts ordering, receiving, inventory management, and returns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Has built a reputation for honesty, professionalism, and exceptional customer service
- Has previous experience in the independent automotive repair industry
- Is well connected within the Rutherford County automotive community and has a strong professional reputation among customers, technicians, dealerships, or parts suppliers
- Takes pride in solving problems and helping customers make informed decisions
- Enjoys working with technicians and understands what it takes to keep a shop operating efficiently
- Is self-motivated, dependable, and accountable
