Job Summary

Service Advisor role focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and sales support in a fast-paced automotive service environment. Responsibilities include interpreting customer symptoms, clarifying repair needs for mechanics, scheduling service, verifying warranty coverage, preparing repair orders and cost estimates, setting customer expectations for cost and completion, and ensuring documentation and safety standards are met. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, CSI performance, and ability to translate technical terms for customers, with emphasis on driving sales growth and delivering exceptional service in 2025 and beyond.

Required Qualifications

  • Must fully understand the sales process involved with advising service customers about how to repair and maintain their cars properly
  • Must be computer savvy
  • Fluency with Reynolds and Reynolds or ADP a plus
  • Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time
  • Must have a valid and clean NY state driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
  • Must have an outgoing personality (a "people person")
  • Must demonstrate expertise in developing relationships and providing excellent CSI scores
