Job Summary
Book MOTs, services, and repair work for customers while advising on warranty cover and upselling parts. Liaise with the Aftersales department to schedule appointments based on workload and manage daily customer inquiries via phone and online channels. Inform clients of turnaround times and maintain accurate records in dealer systems. Work Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm with Saturday rota shifts, reporting to the aftersales manager. This 12-month FTC role offers continuous training and progression opportunities within Sheffield Ford's leading UK automotive retailer network.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Passion for customer service

- Ability to build rapport easily
- Ability to explain technical information in a way that is clear and concise

- Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers
- Ability to manage a high-volume of customers daily
- Ability to handle telephone calls and online booking queries
- Ability to liaise with the full Aftersales department
- Ability to organise and schedule appointments
- Ability to maintain accurate customer records
- Ability to update systems when bookings have been made
- Ability to inform customers of turnaround times
- Ability to ensure effective communication throughout the time when a customer's car is in the workshop
- Ability to advise customers about warranty cover
- Ability to upsell additional parts / accessories
- Ability to book MOTs, services and other repair work for customers
- Ability to deliver a first class customer experience each and every time
- Knowledge of other essential dealer systems
- Ability to drive
- Valid driving licence
- Ability to verify recent employment
- Ability to verify address
- Ability to verify credit history
- Ability to undergo a standard criminal record check
- Ability to undergo relevant employment checks
- Ability to accept a 6 month probation period
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience using Kerridge / ADP
- Knowledge of other essential dealer systems (beyond the specific ones required)
