Job Summary
Book MOTs, services, and repair work for customers while advising on warranty cover and upselling parts and accessories. Liaise with the Aftersales department to organize appointments based on workload and call volumes, managing high-volume daily customer interactions, telephone calls, and online booking queries. Inform clients of turnaround times and ensure effective communication throughout the repair process, maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems for all bookings. Work Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm with Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Passion for customer service
- Passion for cars
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build rapport easily
- Ability to explain technical information in a way that is clear and concise
- Must be able to work independently using your own initiative
- Must have heaps of energy
- Must have a warm personality
- Must be able to deliver a first class customer experience each and every time
- Must be a team player
- Must be available for Saturday mornings on rota basis
- Must be able to work between hours Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
- Must be able to work 42 Hours weekly
- Must be able to handle a high-volume of customers daily
- Must be able to handle telephone calls and online booking queries
- Must be able to manage bookings for MOTs, services and other repair work
- Must be able to advise customers about warranty cover
- Must be able to upsell additional parts / accessories
- Must be able to liaise with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments
- Must be able to inform customers of turnaround times
- Must be able to maintain accurate customer records
- Must be able to update the systems when any bookings have been made
- Must be able to verify recent employment
- Must be able to verify address
- Must be able to verify credit history
- Must be able to undergo a standard criminal record check
- Must be able to undergo a driving licence check (for roles that require you to drive)
- Must be able to complete a 6 month probation period
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of other essential dealer systems
- Previous experience using Kerridge / ADP
