Job Summary
Service Administrator coordinates service work between customers, field technicians, and internal teams; schedules technician visits; maintains service records and documentation; communicates updates and job status; uses multiple computer systems; supports daily service department workflow and prioritizes administrative tasks; collaborates with service, parts, sales, and administrative teams to keep work moving smoothly; comfortable around technical information and equipment terminology.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative, customer service, scheduling, dispatching, or office support experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both customers and internal teams
- Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, databases, and business software
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy, service-focused environment
- Mechanical, industrial, equipment, service, construction, or dispatch-related experience is a plus
- Ability to learn technical terminology and ask good questions when information is unclear
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
