Job Summary
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to grow the roofing service business by communicating requirements and offering tailored solutions. Collaborate with local and national teams to support client needs, follow up on quotes and tenders, and represent Flynn at industry events and meetings. Prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, and work orders while delivering virtual presentations to stakeholders. Contribute to business development and support marketing efforts through strategic initiatives and social media engagement. This role requires 3 to 5 years of commercial roofing estimating experience and proficiency with Bluebeam or similar software.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of estimating experience in the commercial roofing industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including new construction, re-roofing, and service and maintenance work
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience using Bluebeam or similar estimating and document management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a commitment to client service, business development, and team collaboration
