Service Account Manager

The Service Account Manager (SAM) will be the relational heartbeat of Matrix Construction Services’ service business, maintaining and deepening property-level relationships across an existing client base in San Diego and the Inland Empire, and surfacing service and small capital opportunities. This non-transactional, relationship-driven role emphasizes consistent client contact, being the primary day-to-day contact at the property level, identifying capital-improvement opportunities, and actively prospecting new properties. The SAM collaborates with estimating to ensure accurate service proposals, tracks activity in the CRM, follows up on open proposals weekly, and helps advance capital relationships originated from service accounts. The position requires industry-specific knowledge of multifamily properties, strong relationship-building, disciplined pipeline management, and comfort with using CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and Smartsheet. The role is fully tasked with traveling to client sites within the San Diego and Inland Empire markets, leveraging an ESOP-owned company culture, and contributing to a team that prioritizes relationship quality and service revenue performance.
