Job Summary
Provide quality food and beverage service to Members and guests, including bistro service, menu guidance, and banquet-style service when necessary. Set and clear tables in dining and function rooms while maintaining a clean environment. Ensure food product delivery meets Management standards and address guest concerns with appropriate team members. Manage personal shift accounting procedures and handle beverage orders. Must have Smart Serve certification, lift 30 lbs, and work throughout the fall season including weekends and holidays. Previous serving experience and knowledge of wines and food are assets.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and independently
- A self-starter and team player
- Smart Serve certification
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (age 18)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Able to work throughout the fall for a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- This is a seasonal position, must be available to work through the Fall season
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year serving experience preferred
- Sound knowledge of wines and food is a definite asset
- Previous experience with the Squirrel POS system is an asset
