Job Summary
Join the events team as a server at Zoo Atlanta, responsible for setting tables, preparing buffet stations, and assisting with setup and breakdown of event spaces. Ideal candidates possess 2+ years in catering/food operations, knowledge of upscale service styles, and strong customer service skills. Duties include serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, and communicating with team members to ensure excellent service. Candidates must be organized, friendly, and able to lift approximately 40 lbs. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement are available.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of catering experience and/or food & beverage operations
- Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles
- Knowledge of food and beverage catering equipment and set-up
- Must be a highly organized individual
- Must be friendly with a customer service mentality
- Must be a phenomenal team player
- Must have impeccable integrity for the business, the community, and the team
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs
- Renowned time management and organization skills
- Strong Customer Service skills
- The ability to work alone and as a team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
