Server

Server responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, taking and delivering orders, suggestively selling, receiving payments, and assisting other service staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Must respond to guest concerns promptly, demonstrate knowledge of the menu and station operations, accurately enter orders in the POS system, prepare beverages and select menu items, maintain dining room cleanliness, handle cash transactions, and adhere to Denny’s Guiding Principles. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends, communicate effectively in English, work well in a team, and meet basic math and cash-handling requirements. Minimum age 21 for locations serving alcohol. The role requires physical mobility to lift up to 30 lbs, operate the POS system, and provide prompt, courteous service throughout the dining experience.
