Job Summary
The Server provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to residents and guests in a full-time role, ensuring quality and service standards are met. Responsibilities include taking orders, relaying to kitchen staff, delivering meals, responding to resident/guest requests, maintaining the dining area, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation, logging temperatures, assisting with meal preparation under the Cook or Dining Services Manager, and supporting receiving/stocking of deliveries. The role emphasizes customer interaction, adherence to recipes and menu guidelines, and maintaining dining-room cleanliness and organization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must obtain and maintain any required local or state food handling, supervision, or sanitation certifications
