Job Summary
Provide exceptional table service to residents, guests, and employees by managing dining room setup, folding linens, and presenting menus with knowledge of daily specials. Write orders on checks, relay them to the kitchen, and serve beverages and courses while pacing delivery according to established procedures. Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness of stations and floors, and ensure all beverages are refreshed throughout the meal. Requires high school education, food handler certification, and ability to work weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent (GED is accepted)
- Effective communication via the ability to read, write and speak English
- Food handlers certifications
- Ability to work weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full service active adult/senior living
