Job Summary
Take orders and deliver food and beverages to customers while providing an excellent overall dining experience. Operate a cash register and ordering information system such as MICROS POS with proven hands-on experience. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, active listening, and effective communication in English and Kiswahili. Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Min KCPE grade C required; food safety training is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Lively and friendly personality
- Needs to be energetic and quick on their feet
- Hands-on experience with a cash register and ordering information system (e.g. MICROS POS)
- Basic math skills
- Attentiveness and patience for customers
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Ability to clearly and fluently communicate in English and Kiswahili (speak, read, write)
- Team spirit - willingness to assist as required
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Attentiveness and awareness to Cleanliness and Hygiene is a must
- Flexibility to work in shifts and able to work on weekends and holidays
- Min KCPE grade C
- Be able to follow instructions, company procedures and policies
- Honest
Desired Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Server/Waiter/Waitress is an advantage
