Job Summary
Server responsible for providing meals and beverages to residents in the dining room and delivering the total resident experience. Responsibilities include setup/cleanup of dining area, assisting with meal service, coordinating with kitchen staff, ensuring menu items and condiments are available, accommodating special diets, and maintaining a welcoming, compassionate environment in accordance with facility policies; requires teamwork with Food & Beverage Director, Dining Room Supervisor, Cooks, and nursing staff, and adherence to health and safety guidelines; shift is dayshift (6am–2pm) with variation for weekdays/weekends; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift 25 pounds and read/write/speak English; must follow attendance policies and Resident Bill of Rights.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to lift a 25-pound tray overhead
- Must provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination required with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly residents
- Must maintain the highest standards in caring and servicing residents
